2002 Trans Am Wont Start
Not really a mechanic kind of person. Battery is dead
(always goes dead) When I try to jump it, it'll turn over and
stall (I think) instantly, unless I keep my foot on the gas.
Once I release the gas, STALL
multiple problems, would start by assuring the Ground cable is in place and connected solidly to the chassis/frame and the other leg to the engine block near the alternator bracket, red assure that it is not corroded, this has a fuel injection system, regardless would look for a temperature control sensor on the intake or on your block, as the eyes and ears of the computer, which tells it the Mix which in your case sounds awful rich~ perhaps the EGR if a California car may be not working properly~ fuel pressure may be bad, with a choked fuel filter, a glove box or trunk light may be the cause of your parasitic drain~ FRESH new battery with solid fresh connections to diagnose further~
new battery and new fuel filter would be good.
Forgot to include. Battery is new. Bought it mid July.
