'02 Bonneville trunk won't release

'02 Bonneville SSEi trunk latch will not
release. Dealership traced it to bad rear
body control module. I can't open the trunk  
with the key. The shop had it open. Does
anyone know how they did it?  I have a tail
light build out and can't get to it withou
opening the trunk.

Probably went threw the back seat to the trunk, or under the back seat, and pulled the emergency release.
