Engine Shakes when stopped?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay I have a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville 3800
Series 2 Supercharged. I just bought the car
and used code scanner on it and said I
needed new injector cause 4th was misfiring
so I changed that. But now heres my other
problem Engine shakes when car is sitting
and running. And how I start my car is I half
to turn the key and hit the brake and the gas
at the same time for atleast 10 mins if I don't
push the gas car will automatically shut off.
And I can't just turn the key to start it I half to
push the gas or it will just keep cranking. I
really need help to fix that problem if anyone
knows why the engine could be shaking or
why I half to hit the gas for 10 mins to start
it let me know thanks

A trouble code P0304 could be a bad spark plug, spark plug wire, coil pack, poor compression on the cylinder, OR a bad fuel injector. If your Bonneville has over 100,000 miles on it and you don't know if or when it was last tuned up. Do a complete tune up which consists of new spark plugs and new spark plug wires. You'll want to use iridium spark plugs. They'll go for another 100,000 miles. This may solve both issues. If you still have the starting problem clean the throttle plate and IAC (Idle Air Control) valve with carburetor cleaner. HTH. -Jim
