Question about the fuel system and Sunfire body design.

I have a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire, and I have a question regarding the fuel system, Earlier today someone hit my car exactly on the passenger side where the tire and fuel cap is located...My question is would this hit have damaged the fuel filter? or any thing that might prevent me from being able to pump fuel into my car? As i wont be able to have my car looked at till after Christmas and i still require it to go to work.

I worry that the pump may have been jostled from it's mounts....best to get a loaner until your shop/insurance assessment is done with it~
