Hesitation and back firing

Asked by Oct 11, 2016 at 09:06 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Montana Base Extended

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just changed the alternator in my
2004 Pontiac Montana and now it acts
like it don't want to shift and it keeps
backfiring. It backfired so bad it blew
the Seam apart on the main part of my
new exhaust. And my service engine
light keeps blinking and won't go out
and it is sucking my fuel down
extremely fast. I've checked all plugs,
wires, fixed the exhaust the best I
could and nothing is working. What am
I doing wrong
