I was told there was a reset button for my fuel pump in the trunk of my 2005 Pontiac Sunfire is that true

on Monday I forgot to turn my lights off when I went to work, completely draining my battery after sitting for 8-9 hours this way. Parking lot security tried for almost an hour to jump my car with their jump box, but it just wasn't enough juice. I called AAA and they were able to test that my battery was good, and was showing 22 out of 650 on the voltage, but my car started right up. I drove home which was an hour and a half away from my place of work. Figurine that the drive, being a descent distance away would recharge it against the request of the agent who jumped it. He said that I should take it in to have it fully recharged. but in all my mechanical experience, I have always known a good alternator will recharge the battery fully in jut 20-30 min of jumping the car as long as you let it run that long. so Tuesday I drove to work no problems, made sure to turn the lights off, drove home form work just fine (mind you it is 1 1/2 hour both ways in and in rush hour it is about 20 min longer. I get home run in the house for about 10-20 min get back in the car to run to the store, and the car cranks, but won't fire. I look under the hood and notice the PCV is not connected to the housing (the black box), opposite the engine side. I had a friend of mine look at it, and he crazy glued the peace back to the black box. I take the Nissan to work Wednesday, come home start the Pontiac Wednesday night, fires right up, I turn it off. Thursday morning issue with the Nissan, forces me to drive the Pontiac to work, fires right up, drop my son off at school, and go t work, lunch comes ready to go, car cranks but won't fire, I checked the internet and followed the instructions to anti theft light override, but that did not work, in fact my battery went dead during the process so I had no choice but to have my car towed home. They put a charge to the battery, but again it would only crank but would not fire. so I had my car towed Saturday to a local mechanic shop, he said it was my fuel pump, but I know for a fact that when I turn my key in the on position you can hear the buzzing charge sound that it makes, and now looking on this forum, I see how that might be a mistake, a very costly one. I called an auto parts store, and spoke with someone who is mechanically inclined, and he said that there is a reset button in the trunk of my car that will reset my fuel pump. Also that there is a fuse that might have gone bad.

the fuel inertia switches are on Fords only. Cranking and not firing is either a fuel issue or spark. Have a mechanic check the fuel pressure and for spark when the car is cold.
