At first it was making a noise but now it dont

I have a similar issue; I own a 2005 Montana as well. I tried to jump it with a portable jumpstarter, but it only attempted to load the CD-changer and just stopped the process. Over the past 5 months, the radio wouldn't shut off when the driver's door opened, but opening and closing the door would be a temporary fix to the radio issue. The past Saturday, when attempting to start it up, the battery icon appeared and the engine wouldn't start. I did hear a different clicking sound, directly behind the gas tank that I hadn't heard before Saturday. However, the prior week, I did have an issue with the sliding doors creating the annoying dinging sounds while the engine is running -- but cleaning the contacts on the door corrected that from occurring.
