Does your Solstace use gas struts to hold it up when openned? If so, you probably need to replace them. Alignment is usually adjusted with the screws that hold the hinge to the lid. Also, there are usually adjustable stops on the edgees of the lid or frame where it meets the lid that help some vertical adjustments.
