is there another engine that will bolt up to my auto trans, besides the 3.0?

i just had $1800 of work done on the auto trans. drove the truck 2 weeks. the 3.0 engine
overheated and seized up.is there another engine other then the 3.0 that will bolt up to my
auto trans, without to much difficulty?

Honestly at this point I wouldn't bother. Use the money that you'd spend replacing the engine as a down payment on something newer. Maybe you can get back your $1800 on a trade in. HTH. -Jim
