I was driving home and I noticed a small umm noise and then a quick thrust then I heard a low thunk-snap and it wouldn't turn over. Thank goodness I was on a slope and coasted to a safe location.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What does it sound like??? It is a 97-98 Plymouth Breeze My son had my
car and he never checked the oil or the radiator fluid. That night the car
over heated and he got help to get some water and he made it home. I
added radiator fluid and oil. It did okay. Since then I have been adding
50/50 radiator fluid and water. I bought the car and didn't know it needed a
head gasket at the time of purchase. Could it be because the night the
incident happened it effected the head gasket and made it worse?

Sure can, but I would think twice before you put anymore money into a Breeze.
