Turn the ignition on but don't try to start it. Listen for the fuel pump back by the gas tank. It should run for about 3 seconds. If you don't hear it, get a hammer and hit the bottom center of the gas tank 2 or 3 times. Try to start it again. If it then fires right up, fuel pump is bad. If not, spray some starting fluid down the throttle body. It should run a few seconds on the starting fluid. If not, it's an ignition (no spark) problem. If so, it's a fuel problem. However, if you have spark and fuel, and it still won't run, run a compression test. If all cylinders test low or zero, it's jumped timing. HTH. -Jim
