I have a 1996 4.6 gt my steering will come back to center after turning.

Could be your steering rack and or suspension components are faulty. How is the fluid in your PS reservoir?

Fluid is full and moving around when car is running and is not making any kind of noise from power steering it was working fine one day then the next day it was hard to turn in spots and no recall back
