My Oldsmobile cutlass drove fine then stalled out &wouldn't crank up so I got a new starter for it now it acts like the fuel pump is bad but I can here the fuel pump click in what else could it be

Spray some starting fluid down the throttle body. If it runs a few seconds on the starting fluid it's a fuel problem. If not it's an ignition (no spark) problem or possibly it's jumped timing. Check for spark first. If you have spark a fuel (starting fluid at least) and it won't run. Do a compression test. If all cylinders test low or zero it's jumped timing. HTH. -Jim
