my 1999 Olds Silhouette alarm keeps going off, what is causing that to happen?

The vehicle thinks it's being stolen. Try this. With the power door locks in the open position, disconnect the battery for about a half hour. That will clear the computer. Reconnect the battery, start the car, lock the doors. Go for a 15 minutes ride. Shut the engine off. Unlock the doors and then remove the key. That MAY or MAY NOT work. Good luck.
