Oil pressure will have nothing to do with a clogged cat. Be careful but start it up and rev it while in park. You shouldn't be able to get very high rpms if it's clogged. If you get to 4000 then it's fine. Don't go over 4000 rpm. Also if you have someone else there the exhaust should be really hot, as in you can't put your hand several inches from the tailpipe. Be careful with this part too as it will be very hot if it's clogged.
