What is the cause of fast ticking sound from turn signal handle after right turn use?

Asked by Dec 27, 2014 at 10:02 PM about the 2002 Oldsmobile Alero GLS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After using turn signal on right turn, rapid ticking sound comes from turn signal and can
only be stopped by slight maneuvering of signal handle, usually requiring several attempts.

1 Answer

Usually a rapid ticking means one of the bulbs is burned out on that side. Turn the signal on and get out of the car to see if it's the front or the rear bulb and replace.
