Question type: General

What brand and model airbags were installed on the 2004 Oldsmobile
Bravada (final 500 edition if that matters) My wife hit a car in April of 2011
and  the airbags did not deploy. just recently she rolled the Bravada going
65-70 mph on the freeway, rolling it several times. the airbags did not
deploy and the car caught fire. should the airbags (front or side) have gone
off in both occasions?

If the insurance company did not total it in 2011 I would say no. Normally if the insurance company determines the airbags should have deployed the vehicle is totalled, red tagged, and investigated. If you look at Copart Auto Auction, most of their vehicles are salvage vehicles. Some are smashed to smitheries with no airbag deployment while others are barely hit and all the airbags are deployed. It doesn't really make sense to me either. In 2007 I was involved in a front end collision with my '94 Ford Escort. The airbags did not deploy. The car was totalled anyhow but it did raise an eyebrow with my insurance company. HTH. -Jim
