where can i find out where the flasher unit box goes i can't find it for a 2004 oldsmobile Alero

my turn singles sometime don't work and i was wondering where i can find out
where the flasher unit replaced it

Its usually under the dash. What I do is buy the unit then look for the same under the dash or turn it on then look for the thing producing the sound. Hope that helps my friend!
