Some lenders find a recent bankruptcy an opportunity, for them, to make some money and extend credit. Usually in small amounts with high interest rates. This is because they know you can't refile until a certain amount of time has passed after your current bankruptcy. You may even start getting advertisements for credit cards with a small amount of credit or prepaid credit cards.
