I have a 1990 300zx that will not accelerate when i press the gas. will not go over 3000 rpm

But if it is a head gasket you should be haveing a over heating problem all so I would think. check your oil and see if it has a milky look to it and see if you have water comeing from the tail pipe. plus run a compresion test to see where you are at. Sounds more like a emisions proplem to me

Could all so be fuel pressure regulator so that you are not getting the right amount of fuel when needed if it is to low of pressure. could all so be idle control senser that will only let the engine go to 3000 rpm. These are just things that I my self would check can not say for sure if any of them are the problem
