Stuck clutch

Asked by Nov 27, 2016 at 02:01 AM about the 1991 Nissan Pickup 2 Dr STD 4WD Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 91 nissan pickup and lately I have gone to start it and it is hard to
shift initially, once I back out of my drive way it is hard to put into gear.
However once in gear it drives and shifts fine, a little rough and still feels a
little stuck at times, but drives. Help?

Check the fluid level in both the clutch master and the gear box first low fluid in either one can cause this condition, although you could also be experancing early stages of clutch system failure, i.e. pressure plate, clutch slave cylinder and or master.
