Honda HRV White Discoloration?

Hi there!

White spots are appearing and spreading on my new 2020 Honda HRV. A small
spot became present on the bumper, which is now in a few areas. There is also
white discoloration appearing on the interior faux leather trim, as well as the
cloth on the passenger seat.

Any idea what could be causing it? I would assume its a defect in the car since
its brand new? Should this be covered under warranty?

Make a warranty claim. Document all issues in case you have to make a legal claim.

Will they wipe off then come back? If so I'd suspect it's mold. Is the vehicle kept in a garage? If so you might want to run a dehumidifier or an exhaust fan for better air circulation. Hope that helps! Jim
