my 1994 nissiand21 pickup wont shift into 2nd gear until it gets hot, i have
changed the fluid and filter and it is full of fluid, it does not slip at all when hot it
shifts perfect, helppppp

That's the opposite of you'd expect . At any rate slipping issues are not a good sign and I would think the tranny's on it's way out . But give it some time and don't use any additives .

Could be the shift solenoid pack, when the solenoid valves get dirty or worn they won’t respond to the signal. I think your might be dirty cause it works after it warms up. The few places I checked no longer serviced it but it was expensive, 366 bucks
