95 Nissan std. trans. truck-replaced battery but battery light and brake light comes on while driving-what could be wrong?

Replaced battery--but my battery light and brake light will come on at times
while I am driving?  What could be causing this?

Could be the alternator. Check the charging status. Should be aprox 14v. Could be a the plate, but still charging ok, could also be a fuse, the european version on some of them have strange fuses near the battery and sometimes because of them you have a similar problem, but i guess it is npot the problem here.
