57 bel air light switch removal

can someone please tell me how to get the knob off the headlight switch so i can remove switch

There should be a release pin that you can push with a screwdriver.

Look for a spring loaded push button on the top of the switch (or bottom depending on how it's mounted). Press and hold the button while pulling the knob straight out of the switch assembly. To reinstall the knob simply push it back into the switch assembly. Hope that helps! Jim
