The heater in my '96 Max is not working.
Warm air comes out but not blowing (like the fan is broken). Before I would have to disconnect the hose from the motor and reconnect it to get it to work. Now, it just won't blow at all. What do I need to replace?
Remove the hose when the car is running and see if you have vacuum on it, if so, then the motor is bad or just needs to be cleaned or lubed. If no vacuum , check the hose for leaks or if it disconnected.
No suction. The hose is not leaking. It used to work if I would bang the motor until about a month ago.
So possible the motor finally broke, see if you can find a used one.
Thank you so much! On a scale of 1-10, how simple of a repair is it?
My 1996 Max heater is blowing cold air when I turn the heat on.
