i need a 96'-97' nissan maxima specialist/ MASTER MECHANIC in the **Atlanta, Ga area (or… in Miami, FL). The problem is… no one knows whats wrong with my car of where to start looking for the problem
My Maxima won't start, or even turn over…. when you turn the key the
starter just clicks rapidly (when the battery is new…) right now my battery is
dead, and it keeps dying on me, I've bought 3-4 batteries for this car since
its been sitting at the shop (in the last 9months). My mechanic did an
engine SWAP for me i had a 96' Maxima GLE with 275,000 mi on the clock
and i put in a 1997 VQ3.0De with 104,000…. and NOw, NOTHIN… My
mechanic has "said" that he has got it to turn over twice* but i was never
there when it started.
I am not in Atlanta, but i will say this,if it is eating battery,s like you said, there is short or something not hooked up right, now on to the cranking issue, have the starter checked, may be your short issue all so.
ok, thats something i didn't even think of… What about having an issue with my Crank Shaft Position Sensors? Ive changed them both already but my mechanic seems to think that one of them (or both) still aren't working properly… He blames EBay (which is where both were picked up for LiL' or next to nothing.)
and then what about my 96' ECU and the 97' VQ3.0De power plant? any hang up's on that or it should still match up perfectly…?
