scraping sound after I start car. Doesn't happen every time, and only for a few seconds.
recently replaced drive belt. adjusted tension 2 weeks later. A mechanic heard it, and said everything is tracking correctly. don't want it to become something bigger.
hard to tell from your info but if the sound is coming from the front of the motor try lubing the idler pully bearings if from rear of motor maybe starter motor is holding in
I agree. And the starters are easy to change on these.
Thanks Karl, I'll try lubing the idler pulley. Not clear on the starter motor holding in????
