Question type: Car Customization

1997 Nissan Pickup XE has over 450K miles on it & used by a courier.  My back is crying out for a new seat!  Can't find a replacement anywhere or a guide to tell me what will fit.

Ask at a local junkyard. If they don't have your truck, maybe another truck with the same seat.

is it the bench seat or buckets?

new seats are well in excess of 300 and can be over 600 for bench seats. if you can locate one in a wrecking yard, it would save you a lot. i just bought a pretty nice bench for 40 bucks for a full size ford. you may also look into re-upholstering your existing seat. it will be midway between wrecking yard price and new seat, but you'll be able to reuse your existing cover and still help the back out.
