p1105 problem

Asked by Oct 14, 2013 at 06:53 AM about the 1998 Nissan Pathfinder 4 Dr SE 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1997 Nissan pathfinder. with code P1105. I have checked all vacuum lines they are correct and no cracks, I have replaced both the map solenoid and switch. I am also getting a vacuum. I have checked to make sure all wires are fine and no breaks, and have also changed the computer. I still have the code. What do I looked for next?

Man...You have done ALL the right things. This is just one example of several sources for Nissan Pathfinder P1105 .....all I can think of is try another scanner, maybe that one is faulty to keep giving you the same OBD fault after all you have done. Which is all there is to do. Except you say MAP solenoid..but the actual MAP sensor? P1105 Nissan - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve Possible causes - Faulty Manifold Absolute Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve - Manifold Absolute Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve harness is open or shorted - Manifold Absolute Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve sensor poor electrical circuit connector - Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) ***Click image
