1998 Nissan Maxima- New battery, car won't start..lights on dash light up but nothing else.. I also have a push button start because the ignition switch gave out about a year ago. What could be the problem?

Before you spend money on unnecessary repairs, have someone put it on a code machine and it will tell you exactly what is malfunctioning. The alternator or tune up may be the problem. Get parts on line from car parts.com. Extremely inexpensive and a 1-2 delivery. Hope this helps

I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima. I think I'm having a problem with the power steering. A few days ago it started making a grinding noise when i turned right, the PS fluid is low, but how do i know if that is the problem or if it's something more serious? The problem is, I am ABSOLUTELY CLUELESS when it comes to cars, car problems, repairs, labor, & fair prices. The other problem is that I'm a young, single mother on a VERY tight budget.
