rear hatch lock issue

Asked by Jul 26, 2016 at 08:13 PM about the 1999 Nissan Pathfinder 4 Dr SE 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently replaced a rear hatch on a 1999 nissan pathfinder the new hatch fit
perctly and soldered up nicely however when i use the key fob or the door lock
to lock the car the hatch will lock but the window pops open and when i pop
the window in the hatch unlocks. What i was thinking: there was two blue with
red stripe wires and i tried them in both positions, i tried manually sliding the
rods inside the panel of the hatch, and i might need to replace the lock
mechanism so i can use the key to reset the fob function? any advice or
suggestions will help Thanx
