I have a 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5s and my car only has 64,545k on it. Ive had it for 4yrs now and the check engine soon light has come on but my car is running fine. What could the issue be?

Sometimes those lights come on when you need an oil change doesn't mean anything's wrong with your car

Thanks for your answer but shouldn't the oil change light come on instead?

On some of the older vehicles it is the same light that means oil change or check engine you can go and take it to AutoZone and have it checked out they have a free testing
