2000 maxima drivers window not going back up

Asked by Jul 02, 2016 at 06:36 AM about the 2000 Nissan Maxima SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The window went down normally(didn't drop) but
is not coming back up. It doesn't make any noise
when I push the button. Its just the drivers
window. All the others work just fine. What can I
try before resorting to a mechanic?

Sounds like the window actuator motor. If you handy you can remove the inner door panel off and then check the motor to see if it failed and or probe the wiring to see if that is the issue.

Actually mine is doing the same thing... It's the button, I had to stick something up under the button, it come right up then.
