I just got a New alternator and new battery put in and my car is still losing power and shutting off, whats wrong?

Car was doing this before that's why I
got the new alternator and new
battery, but car Will crank then lose
power and won't turn over,

start the car and while it is running disconnect negative battery cable it should stay running if not then you still have a charging issue it is not uncommon that the new alternator is faulty
