Car won't move in Drive, acts like neutral

Asked by Nov 04, 2015 at 08:23 AM about the 2001 Nissan Frontier 2 Dr XE Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The truck won't move when I put it in drive in
the mornings, but reverse works fine. I have
to get it moving in 1 or 2 then warm it up to
be able to use D. What's wrong?

Check the transmission fluid level but your symptoms are for a transmission that needs a re-build.
