Ford 2020 Escape Hybrid

Asked by Guru6MTXT Apr 05, 2020 at 04:16 PM about the 2020 Ford Escape Titanium FWD

Question type: General

On the 2020 Escape Hybrid Titanium, there's a button on center console that
looks kind of like P))^.  What is it for?  There is also a slot below the row of
buttons.  What is it for?

If you're talking about the button on the bottom right in the above pic, that one turns off the warning beeps that an object is close when you're parking. The slot has no useful purpose, as per my Ford rep. In her words: "There isn't a purpose for the slot, just a goofy thing that Ford put there and I'm not 100% sure why they chose to do it the way they did. It serves no purpose, and there isn't anything that is supposed to be there. "

The slot, according to an unofficial review video, may be used for a credit card size card holder. LOL
