on a 2002 Nissan Frontier, is there something that would cause starters to continually go out. Having to replace a THIRD starter in six months
Low voltage is a real starter killer, do a voltage drop test on all main power cables, double check connections, make sure they are clean and tight.
I have the same problem with my 2002 nissan frontier, twice the mechanic replace the starter, replace spark plugs, new battery, cleaned fuel injection, new battery cable so I let him keep my frontier for a month and it stalled on him, so I told him my neighbor placed it in neutral and it started. Now it's working, he replaced the neutral safety switch.
