I have the engine light on... I take it to a check up...they tell me that I have to change the catalyst..where I could get cheap place to fix it???
Any muffler shop, but I would get a second opinion, very rarely do you have to replace the cats, might be some other issue.
Get the code read and post the code here on the forum and someone might be able to help you. I agree with Tom.
Ditto to the above, too many chain repair shops are all about selling you expensive repairs. Take it to a parts store (Autozone, Advance, O'Reilly, Pep Boys, etc.) and have them scan for trouble codes (it's free) and post them here. When a catalytic converter goes bad you tend to know it (and smell it).
