what can cause my rpm's to drop at a stoplight?
while at a stop sign or stoplight my rpm's on my 2003 Nissan Sentra SER drop below 500rpm's. If i drive without the ac on it does not happen only when i have the ac on. What can be causing this?
The A.C. sensor is not working. The A.C. is putting a load on the engine and the rpm is dropping.
Idle speed control could have also failed, do you have a check engine light on?
A live data scan would be my next suggestion, a shop should be able to read what is not operating. as it should.
