ibought a car in florida, it's titled in alabama and i need to switch it over to ohio. whats the easiest way to do that. and i have to drive it home.
If you bought it from a dealer simply get it insured and the dealer will give you a temporary license plate and registration. Have the dealer call your insurance company. You'll get a temporary insurance card as well from your insurance company. Then you can drive it home. If you bought it privately have the seller send you the signed title via overnight mail. Take the title to your local motor vehicle agency, with proof of insurance. Clear the title into your name, get your registration and license plates. Take the insurance card, registration, and license plates with you when you go pick up the car. Then drive it home. HTH. -Jim
