Save your money. Oil companies paid no taxes last year -- why give them anymore of your cash needlessly? But the cheapest name brand oilyou can, don't be afraid to change brands at will, and change oil and filter every 5K. Use only a quality oil filter (purolator -- Fram is junk) and your car will last as long as possible. Pour no chemicals in the tank --Lucas, Techron, etc. More money waste. Think about this process as taking a bath for yourself. Good clean water is fairly cheap and all soaps are about the same. the key is changing the bathwater often as possible -- will perrier mineral water make your cleaning any better? Nope. Perrier the company feels better though.

It may and it may not? Synthetic Oils have a higher burning point and don't break down as quickly as Conventional Oils...and it is a far better Engine Lubricant. I would at least give it a try. But there are also other things that can cause smoking in an Automobile...Bad Gaskets, Cylinder Head Damage or Cracking, Dirty Throttle Body or Poor Air Quality getting into the Engine, Catalytic Converter is Clogged or no longer functioning. But try the Synthetic Oil first, and wait for about a week or so...and see if there is a notable difference!
