What is the mpg on a 2004 nissan Sentra 1.8 S. I'm getting different reviews. Is it 31mpg/35mpg on the hwy? Please tell me.
I just purchased this car and need to now the miles per gallon. It has 94,000 miles.
The dealership sold it as is. I want a gas saver. What does it really get on the hwy
and city? I am getting different answers online.
I have a 2005 Sentra 1.8S with around 64,000 miles. According to the MPG computer display, I get 34 hwy and 28 city,
You can look up your question on FUELECONOMY.GOV - just remember fuel economy estimates are created by the EPA. They use fuel that is different than what you and I have to buy (they do not use gas with any ethanol), and they never test it on the road. They never start it up in the cold and let it warm up - this is not included in MPG estimates. Generally speaking you should get about 30 mpg average and when you are on the road the MPG should be in the 35 mpg range or better if you are driving in good weather, keep the A/C off, and don't go past 70 mph. Make sure you change the oil every 3750 miles. Failing to do so will result in lousy fuel economy. Also remember the MPG ratings by the EPA are ranges. They are average MPG city and average MPG hwy. People get less or more than listed.
