Everything u need to do for a tune up
...well you could change the plugs....put nowadays they'll be good for a goodly long while, but if changing the plugs....get your hands on a good compression tester to do a comparative test of all the cylinders....take a look at your sparkplugs to see if they are wet, black, brown, white or the corona of correct combustion...air filter..and inspect for leaking vacuum hoses... if feeling spendy can replace them with indestructible silicone...the leaking fuel pressure regulator vacuum connection can be fixed and you should check the operation of the regulator with a suction tool~....in summation air filter, sparkplugs, PCV valve and check the operation of fuel pressure regulator....check the IAT sensor readings hot and cold~ replace if bad~ check the condition of the coolant...goes BAD after four years~...the transmission fluid running with the parking brake set, Full hot and Full Cold the hash marks in between and the Smell to see if it's burnt or leaking at the flexible connection to the radiator....ummm that's all I can think of for now~
...oh, look underhood for a prior steamin' overheat....leaves marks and soil~ be sure that the radiator was NEVER filled with ONLY water....during a panic overheat? take a gander at the hoses and replace with the blue silicone ones (like the police interceptors use)~
