You have read bad reviews and you want to know if you should by a bad car?
When in doubt, check Consumer Reports..The verdict on the 2005 Nissan Quest is as follows: Negative Scores for Major Engine components, Minor Engine Components, Fuel System. Neutral Scores for: Electrical System and Drive System. Positive Scores for: Engine Cooling and Transmission. Overall CR gives the '05 Quest a Negative Reliability Prediction. I personally would avoid this like the Bubonic Plague.
reviews don't lie - they are personal experiences, and when the reviews are all around the same issues, then its likely that they could happen to you if you were to purchase that same vehicle. that's my input on reviews, as for the nissan quest itself, i've never touched one, so wont jump in on that part
