Explanation on Off road
I just bought a 2005 Pathfinder SE OFF ROAD. I DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT THIS OFF ROAD STANDS FOR. CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE FEATURES OF THE OFF ROAD FOR ME. WHAT DOES IT HAS THAT THE NORMAL ONES WITHOUT OFF ROAD DOESNT HAVE.
none just a 4x4 saying.
Yes, it's just a different badging. Some vehicles like this may have slightly higher ground clearance (an inch or two in the case of Trail-Rated Jeeps) and may or may not have skidplates to cover the oil pan, etc., in case of large rocks.
actually, there is a difference between the SE and the SE OFF ROAD. i actually own one and did the research before i bought it. there is a 2 inch difference in clearance, which makes the OFF ROAD a full 12 inches off the ground, it also has skid plates to protect the oil pan, transmission, drive shaft and exhaust piping. it also has down hill traction control where no other Pathfinder model has this option.
Thanks a lot guys, mine has the 4x4 accessories but not the logo with SE .
absolutly wonderful that i was able to educate myself on the question and answers that were given.
