My 2005 Altima S has 96K miles and the crank during ignition is hesitating.

Asked by Jun 25, 2016 at 10:42 PM about the 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It takes several cranks to start unless I turn ignition on for about 10 seconds
before cranking.  Nothing showing on computer and I have a new battery.

Its not your Battery , sounds like a bad Starter (disengaging )..

Your fuel pump should only take a few seconds to bring up the fuel pressure needed to crank and run the engine. Check fuel pressure too see if fuel pump is operating correctly.
