Car won't turn over

Asked by Jontai Jul 29, 2017 at 04:43 PM about the 2006 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I went to the pet store. Left my car running with
A/C because its summer time. I come out and car
is not running and wont take a jump. It always
starts up good. Never has never died on me. Acts
like it has no charge. I did notice the battery not as
strong as usual when I was at the carwash
vacuuming it out. Of course the doors were open
but not for more than 20 min. I dont think that
would kill my battery.  Could it be the alternator? Or
should I just replace the 2014 battery?

Sounds like the alternator because once it is started, the car runs on alternator. YouTube videos out there that can help you diagnose which one. If alternator is failing, then the car was running on battery power until it died.
