NO SPARK TO 97 PROBE

Recently bought a 97 probe gt, the lady who sold it to me said the only thing that it needed was a coil pack, i got the coil pack replaced and the car will turn over, lights come on and everything but their is no spark for it to start. What could the potential problem be?

Test for spark at the spark plug, if none, check connections to coil and condition of wires. Did the car run when you bought?
