Sounds like it is time for a clutch kit. Don't short cut it replace the whole kit clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bushing, clutch slave and master cylinders.

Car has no cylinder sleeve know anything clutch cable goes from quandary under the dash outside the firewall to the fender well underneath straight to the fork and that's it

Then it could be an auto adjuster failure, see pic, or the clutch is shot.

when this happen I was in Georgia I drove it on down into Florida 300 more miles in 5th gear miles in 5th gear

I'm thinking that it is in my cable adjuster thank you very much

From what I can gather they are a bit of a pain to replace.

I'm thinking it's the adjuster quandrant because I drove it for a hundred more miles if the clutch was shot surely I would have not made it 400 miles and I checked my clutch cable under the dash and it is loose and I already have taken out the quandary it in Nepal

And the quandrant will not adjust it keeps slipping at least the prowl does

OK how do I change out the plastic quandrant that spring loaded to the metal quandrant that has no spring how do I put that quandrant on with that half inch of space behind the quandrant what do I put in the back of it to make up for the space of the spring

Never had to change one so I really don't know. Have you tried you tube?

I found out my problem has nothing to do with clutch cable bad pressure plate man

AAHHHA I just had a suspicion it was the in the clutch setup, that why I stated clutch kit, just didn't know yours was cable instead of hydraulic, I have seen some guy switch over to hydraulics when they put in competition clutch systems.

Yes yesterday I just grabbed the clutch kit put the car 4 foot in the air setback drink a 12-pack going to get on it this morning thanks for the help brother really appreciate it

Oh one more thing the front seal is leaking really bad got oil dripping out of the bellhousing LOL nice greasy clutch so changing that as well
